We are Taiwan YHA affiliate of the Hostelling International network of more than 4,000 hostels in over 80 countries. As a nonprofit organization, we are celebrating 20 years of experience in serving young travelers.
Taiwan YHA, in cooperation with other national associations worldwide, belongs to the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF). This entire network, known as Hostelling International, offers more than 4,000 hostels in over 80 countries. Taiwan YHA and the blue triangle with the tree and hut are the trademark and seal of approval of the IYHF, assuring travelers quality, affordable accommodations that are routinely inspected and travel programs worldwide.
The key mission of the Taiwan YHA is to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling - opening the world to youth. Taiwan YHA also provides local members and visitors with a wide range of special programs, events, trips and activities. |

| Hostelling International Mission |

| To promote the education of all young people of all nations, but especially young people of limited means, by encouraging them in a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside and an appreciation of the cultural values of towns and cities in all parts of the world. And as ancillary thereto, to provide hostels or other accommodation in which there shall be no distinctions of race, nationality, color, religion, sex, class or political opinions and there by to develop a better understanding of their fellow men, both at home and abroad. |

| Taiwan YHA has built up more than 38 accredited YHA's located in cities and rural areas throughout Taiwan all offering convenient, value-for-money accommodation where travelers with a Hostelling International card can pay around US$20-30 a night at any assured youth hostel in Taiwan. |
